hpHosts: Updated 25-11-2012

The hpHOSTS Hosts file has been updated. There is now a total of 184,913 listed hostsnames.

If you are NOT using the installer, please read the included Readme.txt file for installation instructions. Enjoy! :)

I am interested in helping a friend use your hosts lists since I absolutely love it. The only problem is that I use Windows and Linux and she uses a Mac. I was wondering if you knew of an easy-to-use hosts manager program (preferably GUI) for Mac OS X?

I came across this Gas Mask that might be useful and I thought I'd at least mention it here and perhaps get my friend to use it.

The screenshot shows they were using MVPS hosts. Not that MVPS hosts is bad, I just prefer HpHosts and have for some time now. :)

Mostly though I thought I'd ask you in case you've had any Mac-using HpHosts enthusiasts rave about some excellent program. If not, well, I'll ask my friend if "Gas Mask" has been of any use to her and then come back here and let you know the verdict, if that's all right. ;)

Thanks for your constant vigilance with HpHosts. Again, I absolutely love it.

thank you for getting in touch.

The majority of the MAC users actually don't use a GUI to manage it, so I'm not familiar with any that are available (never been able to afford a MAC myself, so never had one to do any testing on).

I'd love the opinion on Gas Mask however, and thank you for both the offer, and your comments.
