Well, I'm back home for an hour (got the doctors in just over an hour too), so I've pulled the hpHosts server offline, replaced the PSU, replaced the CPU coolant, and am now defragging the data drive (the one with the hpHosts site files).
The system drive was defragged over night, so if performance doesn't improve, I'm going to have to look at other options (it still needs converted over to SQL anyway).
