Quite why APS decided to go back on their notice to Above.net, and re-enable the site, is anyone's guess, but APS/3FN are dangerously close to being put on the crimeware friendly hosting co list. In the meantime, I've gotten back in touch with Above.net (APS don't seem to bother replying) to find out whats going on - hopefully they'll force APS to take them down permanently.
As a rather funny aside, it seems one of their users has noticed my working to take them down (took him long enough, his fellow skiddies noticed alot sooner) - and is rather err, annoyed apparently?
Whats additionally rather funny, is that one of the members of r00tsecurity.org seems to agree that h4cky0u.org is a skiddie site - yet the location of the person that posted the above, is shown as r00tsecurity.org. In saying that, the same person that called them skiddies, is also under the illusion that I find it cool to shut down these sites (so just for you, I don't find it "cool", I just happen to have a hatred of scum that attack other people's servers, crack other people's accounts etc - especially when the only way they can do such, is using a tool or some such, that someone with the knowledge, created for them).

While i agree some of our users deserve the title "skid" (which i think is an immature title). About 85% of our users are the users that don't break the law. Like myself, there are Security Professionals that use the site as a place to learn. As someone who calls themselves professional, you seem to only harp on the negative parts of things you dislike. And i can see why the user of r00tsecurity can say you enjoy taking down sites. Why don't you try to run a 40 thousand member forum, instead of this sad, what under 300 user forum of yours and have everything to be top quality. I believe that you sir, need to mature a bit. Hacking, cracking, skidding around, what ever you wanna call it. Is just the start. The ones who stick on the site become the Security Professionals of America and protect shit sites like yours.
